Re:Location Season 2 profiles five talented Latin American artists as they navigate the complexities of their careers while staying connected to their cultural roots. Each short documentary offers an intimate look at their challenges and triumphs, reflecting on how their experiences in Canada have shaped their artistic identities.

We release a new documentary monthly on our YouTube channel. This season, five mid-career Latin American artists share their journeys, challenges, and strengths.

The fourth episode features Canadian-Peruvian musician Alvaro Rojas. An award-winning guitarist and composer, Álvaro immigrated to Canada with his family as a child during a time of upheaval in Peru. In this 10-minute documentary, Álvaro reflects on how his Latin American heritage has influenced his music, explores themes of belonging, and shares how returning to Peru has shaped his evolving identity as both a musician and a person.
