Sal Ferreras’s Puerto Rico: Roots and Rhythms is an exciting all-star tribute to Puerto Rican dance and music, led by veteran performer Sal Ferreras. The concert will feature various Puerto Rican songs with music from other places, performed by a ten-piece band joined by singers and dancers.

Inducted into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame, Ferreras is an accomplished musician, producer, composer and educator. He was the principal percussionist of the CBC Vancouver Orchestra and former Provost and VP Academic at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Ferreras has performed on several award-winning recordings with diverse artists, including Chicago, k.d.lang, Robbie Robertson, and Raffi.
