Brief info
Roraima is a Venezuelan-Argentinian former TV and radio reporter-journalist with over 15 years of experience in political communication strategy. She arrived in Vancouver in November 2021 with her husband and two children. Her professional journey has been marked by diverse roles and responsibilities, including advising high-level politicians, activists, and cultural leaders. She has also conducted communication departments, participated in public policy processes, and been a diplomat serving as a press attaché at the Venezuelan Embassy in Washington, DC. In these areas, Roraima actively engaged in cultural initiatives and programs aimed at fostering exchanges and cooperation between grassroots movements, as well as indigenous, Black, and Latino communities in both the United States and Venezuela. Her last job in Argentina before coming to Vancouver was as the Undersecretary of Communication for one of the biggest municipalities in Gran Buenos Aires.
Beyond her political and communication endeavours, her passion for cultural activities has driven her professional growth, supporting artists in various areas such as production, communication, and branding. Roraima loves to sing and has participated in different choirs and polyphonic groups. She has also shared the stage as a guest with well-known artists in both Venezuela and Argentina.
