Stephanie Durán Castillo is a Peruvian artist, writer and art administrator who lives and works in Vancouver, BC. Originally trained as an animator, Stephanie’s interdisciplinary practice is informed by an interest in undomesticated landscapes, colonialism, mythology and folklore imagery, and her work has been shown and published in Canada and across the Americas. As an Emily Carr graduate with multiple certifications as community builder, fundraiser and art administrator, she works doing fundraising in the arts sector. She currently is part of the collective Tortilleria Press.
