With a Certificate in Advanced Arts and Entertainment Management from Capilano University and a Diploma in Cultural Management, Thaís Bouez is a passionate professional with a holistic approach to art and culture programs. Her career is marked by a deep dedication to fostering creativity and community engagement over diverse cultural landscapes.
Her professional trajectory expands across various fields, from leading cultural projects at the Planetarium of Rio de Janeiro, such as the 1st Latin American Festival of Cultural Astronomy, to working as a Production Coordinator for the Steveston Salmon Festival and Richmond Maritime Festival in 2023. She has also collaborated with art programs at the Roundhouse, exhibitions at North Van Arts, and show productions all over Vancouver.
Thaís moved from Rio de Janeiro to Vancouver in 2022 and has been involved with VLACC since then, first as a volunteer and singer at VLACC's community choir, Canto Vivo and now overseeing the organization's programs.
