Voices of Self-Love is a group exhibition that celebrates the powerful journey of self-love through stories of acceptance, belonging, nurture, and transformation. This past April, twelve Latin American women gathered at a local community center to participate in creative writing, painting, and sculpture workshops, courageously sharing their personal stories of self-discovery.

Inspired by these moving narratives, twelve talented local artists have brought each story to life through their art, capturing the essence of self-love, healing, and empowerment. This exhibit aims to uplift women and foster meaningful connections among those on similar growth journeys.

VLACC is thrilled to partner with Britannia Community Services Centre and collaborate with La Libélula to bring this unique showcase to the Britannia Art Gallery. Together, we’re celebrating the beauty of self-love and community through art. Join us in honouring these voices and witness the transformative power of creativity.
